Along with CCAH’s sponsored bill, SB 686 (Reyes), your advocacy team has been closely following a series of bills that will have an impact on the production of affordable housing across the state, some for the better, and others for the worse.
Last Friday, May 23rd, marked the final day for bills with a price tag greater than $50,000 to be heard in the appropriations committees before moving to the next house (i.e. Senate bills will now be considered in the Assembly, and vice versa). Below is a list of bills being closely watched by the CCAH advocacy team with updates on the status of each bill.
AB 87 (Boerner) Housing development: density bonuses: mixed-use developments. – Moved to Senate.
