This past weekend, CCAH was honored to receive the Organizing in Solidarity Award from the Coalition PAC, a student‑led political action committee dedicated to electing local Democratic leaders who prioritize working families and real community needs over traditional insider politics and culture‑war distractions. With a presence on more than 250 campuses across California, the Coalition PAC mobilizes and empowers the next generation of voters to get involved in their communities and participate meaningfully in the political process.

The awards dinner celebrated a range of organizations, as well as local and state elected officials, with special recognition for State Treasurer Fiona Ma for her ongoing work supporting working‑class families and advancing affordability across California. Paul Shafer, CCAH Policy Manager, attended the event and accepted the award on behalf of the organization.
