CCAH Welcomes Dawn Carlson to the Team

Dawn Carlson

CCAH is thrilled to welcome Dawn Carlson who will be joining us on November 17 to support our team during Lindsey Dole’s upcoming maternity leave.

Dawn is the Founder and Principal of LevelUp3, a consulting company specializing in organizational leadership. A seasoned community leader with deep roots in the Sacramento region, Dawn’s career has been dedicated to public service, advocacy, and strategic development. During her over 15 years as Director of Community Programs at Power Inn Alliance, a Property & Business Improvement District (PBID) in Sacramento, she led initiatives in public safety, community beautification, and economic development, spearheaded programs that reduced crime, enhanced public spaces through art and infrastructure, and built strong partnerships between civic leaders, law enforcement, and the business community.

Dawn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism/Communications from California State University, Sacramento, and is certified in Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design. Her volunteer work with the City of Sacramento’s Planning and Management Academies and the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Citizens Academy reflects her ongoing commitment to civic engagement and community empowerment.

“We are incredibly fortunate to have Dawn join the team,” said Jenna Abbott, Executive Director of CCAH. “Her creativity, background in journalism, and focus on member service will be a tremendous asset as we continue our work to expand affordable housing opportunities across California. I’m excited for our members to get to know her and benefit from her energy and expertise.”

Please join us in giving Dawn a warm welcome to CCAH. We look forward to having her with us!
