Late on June 30, 2026, Governor Newsom announced a series of key leadership appointments within California’s newly established California Housing and Homelessness Agency (CHHA) and Housing Development and Finance Committee (HDFC).

Tomiquia Moss, formerly Secretary of the Business, Consumer Services, and Housing Agency, will serve as Agency Secretary. She is joined by Sasha Kergan as Undersecretary. Christina Mun who led the transition and assumes a Deputy Secretary role, as well as a team of housing and homelessness staffers, many of whom are continuing in similar roles from the predecessor agencies. click on the links below to learn more about the individuals appointed to the key roles.
