CCAH’s recent conference in Napa was one for the books. With 235 attendees and a waitlist that seemed to grow every day, we had a packed house that brought together leaders from across the affordable housing community for a few days of meaningful conversation, insight, and connection in a truly special setting.
The energy throughout the conference was unmistakable. Panels were engaging and substantive, reflecting both the complexity of the challenges we face and the creativity of the solutions emerging across the industry.
From financing strategies to development trends and policy implementation, the dialogue was thoughtful, candid, and highly relevant to the moment we’re in.
A standout highlight was our keynote, given by Matt Orten from Raymond James, which delivered a compelling and timely look at how current economic conditions, including interest rates and capital markets, are shaping the future of affordable housing. The remarks grounded the work we do in a broader economic context and underscored the urgency of staying adaptive in a rapidly changing environment.
Our panels were strong and included industry experts in debt and equity, goverment partners, both state and federal updates, talk about the importance of recycling your bonds and some new information on potential ways to monetize your portfolio using securitization. The conversations continued over coffee breaks and lunch with attendees making new connections. We saw lots of new faces in this crowd and we were happy to add several new members to our roster during the conference.

We also closed the conference on a strong note with an excellent policy roundtable on day three. The discussion brought forward critical perspectives on where state and federal policy is headed, and how our industry can continue to engage effectively. It was exactly the kind of conversation that reinforces the value of coming together in person.

This event also marked our move to Napa, and the response from attendees and sponsors alike made it clear that the shift was the right one. We are deeply grateful to our sponsors for their continued support and to our attendees for showing up, engaging, and helping make the conference such a success. Your participation is what makes these gatherings not just worthwhile, but impactful.
And we’re already looking ahead. Registration for our Fall Conference will open July 1 for VIPs and members, with early bird registration opening July 15. We’ll be heading back to Paradise Point in San Diego, November 11–13, for what promises to be another can’t-miss event.
If Napa was any indication, the appetite for connection, learning, and collaboration across our field is stronger than ever. We look forward to keeping that momentum going this fall.
We hope to see you there.
