A Message From Jenna Abbott, Executive Director
As we continue our work to expand and protect affordable housing across California, I want to take a moment to highlight the power of your membership—and the even greater impact you can have by getting involved with our Political Action Committee.
Being part of CCAH means more than just staying informed. It means standing together as a unified voice for the affordable housing industry. It means advocating for the policies and funding that make our work possible. And it means showing up—not just for ourselves, but for the communities we serve.
One of the most effective ways to make your voice heard is by supporting the CCAH Political Action Committee (PAC). Our PAC helps the association collaborate with other advocacy groups and coalitions to push for broader housing reforms and works

in tandem with our excellent lobbyists to mobilize grassroots support when needed. A well run PAC will amplify the industry’s voice in legislative and regulatory decisions, support pro-housing candidates who understand the sector’s challenges, protect and expand funding for affordable housing programs, and build relationships with key policymakers and decision-makers. It also allows us to quickly respond to legislative threats or opportunities, unify members around a shared advocacy strategy, and build influence in Sacramento and beyond.
A contribution to the PAC is an investment in the future of affordable housing in California. Whether you’re a developer, property manager or an industry partner, your involvement helps us protect funding streams, streamline regulations, and fight for the resources our communities need.
You can read more about how PAC contributions work here, donate to our PAC right on our website, OR call me directly and I’d be happy to talk through the rules and regulations.
Let’s keep building. Let’s keep advocating. It’s what moves the needle on affordable housing.
Warmly,

Jenna Abbott
Executive Director
