CCAH Fall Conference in San Diego Sells Out — Welcomes State Treasurer Fiona Ma to the Program

The California Council for Affordable Housing (CCAH) is thrilled to announce that its 2025 Fall Conference, taking place November 5–7 at Paradise Point Resort in San Diego, is officially SOLD OUT. With record-breaking attendance and growing interest year over year, this event has become a cornerstone for affordable housing professionals across California. If you still wish to attend, you may join the waitlist.

This year’s conference will feature an exceptional lineup of speakers, including Lieutenant Governor Eleni Kounalakis as keynote, and now, California State Treasurer Fiona Ma, who will address the delegation on Wednesday, November 6.

Treasurer Ma brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the conversation. She is the first woman of color and the first woman Certified Public Accountant (CPA) elected as California’s State Treasurer. First elected in 2018 with more votes than any treasurer candidate in state history, she was reelected in 2022. As the state’s primary banker, her office processes over $3 trillion in payments annually and oversees an investment portfolio that has ranged from $155 billion to $175 billion, including more than $20 billion in local government funds.

Treasurer Ma also chairs the California Alternative Energy and Advanced Transportation Financing Authority (CAEATFA), which supports clean energy innovation by awarding tax exclusions to manufacturers that reduce pollution and create jobs. Her legislative record includes authoring 60 bills signed into law, many of which were first-in-the-nation and required no taxpayer funding.

“We are absolutely thrilled to see our fall conference sell out once again.” said Jenna Abbott, CCAH Executive Director. “The continued growth of our events reflects the deep commitment and energy within California’s affordable housing community. Welcoming Lieutenant Governor Eleni Kounalakis as our keynote speaker was already a tremendous honor, and the addition of Treasurer Fiona Ma to our program elevates the experience even further. Her leadership in finance and housing aligns perfectly with our mission, and we look forward to her insights on November 6.”
