Beyond the conference sessions and networking, we have a couple of special experiences planned to help you make the most of your time with us.
A Fresh Start to Your Thursday
Before Thursday’s conference activities get underway, join us for Sunrise Yoga on November 12. We’ll meet on Island Point Lawn overlooking Mission Bay for a morning of movement, fresh air, and a little time to recharge before a full day of conference programming.
Tickets are $25, with proceeds benefiting the Patrick Sabelhaus Scholarship Fund and supporting the next generation of affordable housing leaders. Space is still available, so reach out to Lindsey if you’d like to participate.
Get a Closer Look at San Diego’s Affordable Housing Communities
On Friday, November 13, attendees can join our property tour for an inside look at three local developments and the work happening behind the scenes to expand affordable housing opportunities.
This year’s stops include:
Harrington Heights | Chelsea Investment Corporation: Located in downtown San Diego, Harrington Heights is an affordable housing community serving residents with lower incomes, including veterans and individuals who benefit from supportive services.
The Helm | Affirmed Housing: Located in downtown San Diego, The Helm offers affordable studio apartments and community amenities designed to support residents with lower incomes.
Rose Creek Village | National CORE: Located in Pacific Beach, Rose Creek Village provides affordable housing opportunities, including permanent supportive housing for veterans.
The tour is a great opportunity to see these communities firsthand, learn more about their development, and connect with colleagues who share a commitment to affordable housing.
