Sacramento, California
Late last year, CCAH undertook a project to modernize and update its image. Working closely with branding experts, the organization engaged its members to find out how the CCAH brand was perceived in the market. With that data in hand an updated logo, fresh brandmarks, a new, more modern website, and new emails using the .org domains common to nonprofit entities like CCAH were created.
“Our new brand and website are more than just a refresh, they are a reflection of our role as a leader in California’s affordable housing sector.” said Jenna Abbott, Executive Director of CCAH. “While CCAH has a long and storied history our online image was a little dusty and our website, while it got the job done, hadn’t kept pace with the technological advancements available. It’s a great honor to be able to roll out a fresh new brand and infinitely more functional website to our members. We also are very excited to have built a new events module that will allow for online registration AND online payment for our conferences and other trainings. With these improvements, we are better positioned to serve our members, advocate for policy solutions, and create new opportunities for engagement as we and our members strive for more affordable housing” Abbott continued.
New Website, More Member Benefits
The redesigned website, CaliforniaCouncil.org, offers an improved user experience, making it easier for members to access critical industry updates, legislative advocacy efforts, and networking opportunities. Key enhancements include:
Member-Exclusive Resources: Expanded policy briefings, market insights, and funding opportunities to keep members informed.
Advocacy Hub: A dedicated section to track key legislation, take action, and stay connected with policymakers.
Streamlined Navigation: A modern, mobile-friendly design that makes finding information more efficient.
Event & Networking Access: An updated calendar of events, conferences, and training sessions to foster connections among housing professionals.
Strengthening Our Advocacy Efforts
The rebranding aligns with CCAH’s continued efforts to champion policies that expand affordable housing production and protect the interests of developers, property managers, advocates, and community stakeholders. Through the new website, members will have more tools at their fingertips to engage in advocacy efforts, share insights, and drive meaningful policy change.
“Our mission remains the same, but our tools for achieving it are stronger than ever,” added Abbott. We invite our members and the broader affordable housing community to explore the new website, take advantage of the resources, and join us in shaping California’s housing future.”
